Dr. Michael Mayer is a Licensed Psychologist, Marriage, Family & Child Counselor, and
hypno-therapist practicing in Berkeley, Orinda and San Francisco. He is Director of the
Psychotherapy and Healing Center. He was a graduate faculty member at J.F.K.
University for
12 years and is a nationally recognized educational speaker for his various innovative works.
He is the Author of The Mystery of Personal Identity, The Mythic Journey Process, and Trials
Of The Heart - Healing the Wounds of Intimacy. Most recently Dr. Mayer has specialized in Body/Mind
healing and is writing a new book on this subject.
Dr. Mayer collaborated with Norman Mickey in the preparation of Video Introductions'

In special arrangement with Video Introductions, Dr. Mayer provides singles and couple counseling for Video Introductions members at a reduced rate. Dr. Mayer's normal hourly rate for individual counseling is $140 hr. These discounted rates are specially made available for Video Introductions members for up to 6 sessions, so remember to mention that you are a Video Introductions member when making an appointment.
Video Introductions members rates:
Individual Counseling Rate - $95 hr.
Couple Counseling - $120 hr.
Comprehensive membership plan members - One free session (office appointment at a Bay Area location).
